Gordon

Gordon was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which is a a rare congenital heart defect that occurs when the left side of a baby's heart doesn't develop properly during pregnancy.

Gordon had three open-heart surgeries at his home hospital in Missouri before the age of 4. Continued complications within his lymphatic system led him to travel to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for more specialized care.

While at CHOP, he had three additional procedures, and has been THRIVING since returning home.
