Salim is likely the only child in the world with his combination of rare genetic diseases. Daily life for Salim includes visits from his home care nurse, bandages covering most of his body and a stylish collection of bow ties. When he’s not playing soccer or reading books, Salim is often traveling to specialty treatment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
